The Acoustic Afternoon Concert Series, occurs on the first three Saturdays of the month from January to April of 2010 at 4pm. This pay-what-you-can event was created to connect established, unknown and up coming musicians with new audiences and networks. The attempt is to bring together Artists that might not usually play together in order to widen the gaze of audiences and expose to artists to new opportunities.

At right on the main page is a listing of the musicians playing each concert. Each artist is a musician for life, their passion is so such that they have no other choice but to strum a guitar or banjo and sing out loud. When the world is finished crashing down and all is silent as the dust settles, you’ll hear a faint chirp and recognize it’s a banjo. Those same musicians are still singing and strumming away, singing tunes about life, death and everything in between.

So come by the Rainbow on the Saturday to discover the best in unknown and established acoustic music.
